Paintball qstn- re: Planet Eclipse Star In-Line regulators?

I’m looking to buy a used Azodin Kaos pump…the fella has switched out the Kaos’ simple gas thru handle, installed a Planet Eclipse Star reg….problem is, I use strictly CO2….curious if this reg will accomodate both, (ala the Lux regulators on Smart Parts SP1/Vibe). Oddly, I called customer service for Planet Eclipse, asked a tech, he said “he didnt think so, uhhhh hmmmm” (not real definitively sure, comically, as he works for PE tech dept)
No biggie, as Azodin has stated they’ll give me a gas thru handle for nothing (as the seller tossed the stock handle). Just would like to save the hassle and keep the reg on…IF it’ll work w/ CO2

No Eclipse reg will work with co2. Technically, it will work with just the co2 GAS but the problem with co2 tanks is the fills are half LIQUID co2, which sometimes makes its way out of the tank, and the reg cannot handle that (although the Kaos Pump itself wouldn’t be too bothered, aside from the velocity spikes & occasional ruined o-ring).

Only co2-safe regs are the ones you mentioned and Palmer Stabilizers. I think old WGP (Worr) stock regs do as well, and those should be real cheap (used, check ebay).
