Paintball: Woodsball/Speedball?

I have a spyder agressor and when I go to the field I like to mix up woods-ball and speed ball(air-ball). I usually use rentals but would the spyder be any good there? They have tippman a-5s but they have been used and abused so i’m assuming they aren’t in best shape.

So the main point is would the spyder go for both? I mean will spyder be ok for woodsball? should i rent an a5 and use it for when I play woods (i would be renting a hpa and 500 paintballs[discounted bag] for $10 overall so it would only be 5 more for the gun and all the other rental stuff)

Spyders can definitely do both, depending on which spyder. The MR series is designed for woodsball (MR1, MR2, etc). All the other spyders do fine in speedball, although the best ones obviously would be the electronic ones (Electra & Pilot) for their firing rate.

But playing speedball, you’ll need way more than 500 paintballs. More like 2000 (a case of paint).
